Finally some Glee apparel! Last month Heather Morris, Kevin McHale, and Jenna Ushkowitz helped Macy’s launch their line of Glee apparel. The line includes Glee inspired hoodies, tops and t-shirts and it is available at Macy’s stores nationwide online at their website, and through Macy’s on Amazon as well. All of the stuff in the line is super cute but I think my favorites are the black marble tee with the Glee logo on it and the pink heart printed tee.

Jane Lynch is all over the place these days isn’t she? Currently starring in Glee, Jane is also featured in the hit movie Julie & Julia, and just happens to also have a role in the new movie Post Grad that opens in theaters on August 21.
The movie follows Ryden Malby (Bledel) who following a string of failed interviews must move back in with her crazy family after finishing graduate school. Jane Lynch plays Carmella Malby – Ryden’s thrifty mother who along with the rest of the family, doles out well meaning advice to Ryden as she tries to find her way. Playing opposite of Michael Keaton and Carol Burnett, Jane’s performance is sure to be full of of the quippy humor that we know and love Jane Lynch for.
In the Philadelphia area doing an appearance at The Gleek Tour, Glee stars Amber Riley (who plays Mercedes on the show) and Chris Colfher (who plays Kurt) stopped by Good Day Philadelphia to sit down with their host for an interview promoting the show. The two of them pointed out that the Glee premiere is going to be 09/09/09 at 9, and went on to answer questions about whether their real personalities match those of their characters, and about the craziness that has ensued since the show began its quick rise to popularity.
Actress Jane Lynch (who plays Sue Sylvester on Glee) is featured along with Meryl Streep and Amy Adams in the now-in-theaters movie Julie & Julia. Lynch plays Dorothy McWilliams, Julia Child’s sister. The movie follows character Julie Powell who documents her way as she cooks every single one of the recipes in Julia Child’s cookbook Mastering the Art of French Cooking. The film also tells the story of the time Julia Child spent in France during the 1940′s with her husband, and is based on two books – My Life in France by Julia Child, and Julie and Julia (My Year of Cooking Dangerously) by Julie Powell.

Glee – described by many as an edgier, more adult version of High School Musical is a one hour musical comedy series that is set to air September 9, 2009 at 9:00 EST on Fox. The show follows Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison) a Spanish teacher at the fictional McKinnley High, who sets out to transform the Glee Club to it’s former glory and to help it’s members utilize their talent and realize their potential.
The Glee Club is made of up of Rachael Berry (Lea Michele) a talented over achiever set on making it big (think Elections Tracy Flick but with aspirations to become a singer), Finn Hudson (Cory Monteith) football player turned Glee Club member, Mercedes Jones (Amber Riley) as the wants-to-be-a-leading-lady diva, Artie Abrams (Kevin McHale) a wheel chair bound electric guitar playing nerdy kid, Kurt Hummel (Chris Colfer) the Mr Cellophane singing soprano that gets bullied by the football team, and Tina Cohen-Chang (Jenna Ushkowitz) the studdering Asian Goth girl.
