Because Glee is so awesome, its stars are being called upon to lend their talent to all kinds of different projects. Several of them have been making cameo appearances on television shows, starring in movies and even appearing on the covers of magazines. Here are the Glee cast members that made the cover of a magazine for the month of March 2011:
Darren Criss, cover of Da Man Magazine and Out Magazine
Lea Michele, cover of British Glamour Magazine and Cosmopolitan Magazine
Heather Morris, cover of American Cheerleader

Finally some Glee apparel! Last month Heather Morris, Kevin McHale, and Jenna Ushkowitz helped Macy’s launch their line of Glee apparel. The line includes Glee inspired hoodies, tops and t-shirts and it is available at Macy’s stores nationwide online at their website, and through Macy’s on Amazon as well. All of the stuff in the line is super cute but I think my favorites are the black marble tee with the Glee logo on it and the pink heart printed tee.
I’ll Stand By You:
Finn Hudson (Cory Monteith)
Original Artist: The Pretenders
Glee Episode: Ten, Ballad
Finn is in a funk because of the baby so Kurt suggests he sing “I’ll Stand by You” to the unborn baby. When he gets home, Finn sings the song to the ultrasound that Quinn gave him.
Push It:
Glee Cast
Original Song: Salt N’ Pepa
Episode: Showmance
Not wanting to be embarrased when they perform for the school, the Glee kids try to sex it up and perform Push It instead of the song that Mr Scheuster had picked out for them.
Glee actress Jayma Mays is going to be all over the small screen this season and it won’t just be on Glee! According to reports Jayma is going to be reprising her role playing Hiro’s love interest Charlie Andrews on Heroes. It’s been a while since she’s been on so it’ll be interesting to see what they do with the character coming back! If you’re worried about her appearance on Heroes affecting her role as Emma Pillsbury on Glee, have no fear as Glee has already wrapped filming on season one’s 13 episodes.
For a limited time you can download the video of Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) singing Own My Own. The video is the of her singing the entire song, and is her audition piece for New Directions. Jane Lynch is all over the place these days isn’t she? Currently starring in Glee, Jane is also featured in the hit movie Julie & Julia, and just happens to also have a role in the new movie Post Grad that opens in theaters on August 21.
The movie follows Ryden Malby (Bledel) who following a string of failed interviews must move back in with her crazy family after finishing graduate school. Jane Lynch plays Carmella Malby – Ryden’s thrifty mother who along with the rest of the family, doles out well meaning advice to Ryden as she tries to find her way. Playing opposite of Michael Keaton and Carol Burnett, Jane’s performance is sure to be full of of the quippy humor that we know and love Jane Lynch for.
